The practice

A short list, kept on purpose

Havenrow was founded in 2012 on a simple refusal: we would rather sell forty homes well than four hundred loudly. Fourteen years later the list is still short, and that is still the point.

How it started

One house, sold without a portal

The first Havenrow sale never had a listing page. A seller who valued privacy, a buyer we already knew, one file and three viewings. The sale took five weeks, and both sides asked us to work that way again.

Everything since has been that first sale, repeated carefully: fewer instructions, full documentation, and an agent who knows the street, not just the square footage.

What we hold to

Three habits, not a manifesto

Discretion

Sellers decide who sees their home. We market to people, not to portals, and a name never leaves the file without permission.

Documentation

Every home circulates with plans, surveys and history attached. A buyer should know more before the viewing than after most sales.

Continuity

The agent who takes the instruction hands over the keys. No handoffs, no call centres, one person accountable end to end.

“They turned down our listing the first time. When they took it on, we understood why that mattered.”
